Hafez AlSayed is a serial entrepreneur and business leader with over a decade of experience building and scaling automation, AI, and technology ventures across the Middle East. With a background in Electrical Engineering, he has led large-scale operations and strategic growth initiatives in industrial automation, robotics, and digital transformation, particularly in the oil, gas, and manufacturing sectors.
He is a repeat builder of AI and technology companies, launching or scaling a new venture roughly every six months through utopia Lab. Today, his focus is impact at scale. Hafez leads and oversees multiple businesses including Utopia Global Ventures ( Group company), Analytica, The Bazaar Retail, Cashe (fintech), NexaCare, and several other emerging ventures across technology, healthcare, retail, and payments.
Through Utopia Lab, he operates a venture studio supporting early-stage founders and fractional CEOs to move fast from idea to execution. Utopia X serves as a membership-based platform for young entrepreneurs, while Utopia Life is his podcast exploring leadership, building, and the realities of entrepreneurship.
An active member of YPO and Young Arab Leaders, Hafez continues to mentor and collaborate across regional and global ecosystems. He has pursued executive education from Harvard, Stanford, and London Business School, reflecting his ongoing commitment to growth, learning, and building meaningful companies.
